Chesterfield Panthers is a thriving rugby club who aspire to run a girls rugby team for the Under 15 and Under 18 age groups.

There is an enthusiastic core membership at this age but without the required numbers to make a squad.

Kevin Brown, a coach at the club contacted Sidelinez to ask for support from Junction Arts to make a film to recruit new members.

After an initial meeting with the film-makers, the girls came up with lots of exciting ideas for the film, focussing on why they enjoy playing rugby. These include:

* Keeping fit.

* Getting muddy.

* Making new friends.

* Building confidence.

Sadly, over the Christmas period, a significant number of girls left the Club and Kevin made the decision to withdraw from the project as with such low numbers he felt it was no longer viable to continue.
