Staveley Table Tennis Club
Speedwell Community Table Tennis Academy

Speedwell Table Tennis Club is based in Staveley, working across the Bolsover area with over 200 members. They coach in schools and meet weekly to train and have teams in the Chesterfield League and British Junior Leagues, as well as national Cadet Leagues.

The Club decided they would like a new logo and the junior members were nominated for the challenge. Junction Arts and Creative Forum delivered design workshops in which ideas were explored and designs drawn up.

The young people met again to shortlist the designs. There were elements within a number of sketches that appealed to them, so with Martin Blackham’s impressive drawing skills a final design was agreed.

This design has now been prepared for print by the project artist and can be applied to various items as required.
